World Language Academy
Students with a passion for world languages are offered a free three-week precollege program by the Commonwealth of Virginia. This program is held at Washington and Lee University during the summers.

For the full immersion programs, here are some things you need to know:
- No English is allowed
- Usually this is best for students in years 3 and up in a language
- Students will have to take a language test
- There is an (online) application
- You will need letters of recommendation
- Latin also has a test
- Only two people per language can apply (so talk to your teacher now!)
What will I do at World Language Academy?
- Common classes have included things like Culture and Cinema classes, Economics, Art, Literature
- Learning another language through your chosen language (Korean, Arabic, Greek, Russian)
- Fun activities like drama, art, sports, games
